Spring Has Sprung

It must seem strange to our friends in America reading this, but it is springtime right now. Flowers are in full bloom and are beautiful. The nights are cool but no longer bitter cold, which is good for our Zambian friends. We hear that in just a week or two it will not feel like spring but like full-blown summer. If you wonder about the flower on the bottom left-hand side, it is on a banana tree. Enjoy the pictures of flowers in our yard.

The Fair

The fair has come to Lusaka and we just had to see what a third world agricultural fair was like. Food, rides, livestock, tractor exhibits, hot sun and lots of people milling about. Hmmm. . .it is just about the same!
